Linea Chess collects only the information needed to sell, activate, and manage access to the app.

We collect:

• the email address used for checkout and activation;
• subscription and payment status from our payment provider;
• license and device records needed to activate the app and prevent account sharing;
• optional checkout tracking tags, such as UTM parameters, if they are present in the purchase link;
• basic technical logs needed for security, debugging, and reliability.

We do not collect:

• your games;
• your moves;
• FENs or PGN files;
• cached repertoire data from your device;
• chess.com or lichess.org activity;
• payment card details.

Payments are handled by lava.top. We receive only the payment and subscription information needed to confirm access.

The desktop app stores some information locally on your own computer, such as app settings, selected PGN file paths, cached repertoire data, license state, and incorrect move snapshots. This local app data is not sent to us during normal use.

We do not sell any data. We share data only where needed to operate the service, such as with payment, hosting, or database providers, or when required by law.

We keep account and license records only as long as needed to provide access, handle support, prevent abuse, resolve billing issues, or meet legal obligations.
